Can I upload photos or edit my information?
No, unfortunately not. The website isn’t that sophisticated! Instead, send pictures or bio edits to rlesaar@mac.com and they’ll be posted.
Why isn’t my information on the site (in the Directory)?
Entries are being added almost daily, but the process takes time, especially when we have to do searches to find you and your information. Priority is given to those who have sent in information, either by https://www.gbs1969.com/yourinformation/or sending an email to rlesaar@mac.com. As of September 13, 2018, there are about 180 entries on the site, out of a total of roughly 400 1969 classmates.
Why are the pictures blurry?
Images take memory and time to load. With the potential for over 900 images on the site (!) (about 460 people in our class, each with a yearbook and a contemporary picture), we’ve used lower resolution (thus smaller sized) images to speed load time.
What does the orange dot in front of a name mean?
The information shown for an entry with an orange dot was obtained not from the person themselves but from other sources (e.g., alumni directories, social media, internet searches). This information may not be up to date. If your name has a dot, please use this page https://www.gbs1969.com/yourinformation/ to update your information and share your story. If you’re in touch with a ‘dot person,’ please encourage them to visit the website and update their information.
Why is the Directory split into four parts?
Again, any web page with a lot of images takes longer to load (display). To speed the process the Directory has been split into four different pages.
