Helping Others

continuing a tradition

While we were at South, students participated in a number of community and charitable activities, including collecting donations for Onward House and serving in Key Club (which, you'll notice, now has girl members, too!)

You will not be surprised that your classmates have continued that tradition of service and continue to give back to their communities in a variety of ways, some of which are listed below.

If you live near one of these organizations, you may wish to volunteer your time; if not, you may wish to donate monetarily. Either way, it's hard to think of a better way to honor the school's tradition and specifically your own classmates than to support the charitable work they do.

If you're involved in a similar organization, please send a link and information to rlesaar@mac.com and we'll include it on this page.

In addition, in January 2020 excess reunion registration funds were divided between a contribution on our class’s behalf to the Glenbrook Foundation and to maintaining this website for the next ten years (i.e., until our 60th!)
